Dr. Reagan Gill
Forensic Psychiatrist
Dr. Gill is a forensic psychiatrist who conducts forensic psychiatric evaluations and serves as an expert witness in a variety of criminal and civil litigation. Her expertise includes evaluating criminal competencies, criminal responsibility, malingering, and future risk of both sexual and non-sexual violence.
About
Dr. Reagan Gill earned her Bachelor of Sciences degree from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma and her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She continued her psychiatry residency training at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences where she served as Chief Resident. During this time, Dr. Gill was employed as the project manager for the plaintiff in the case of State of Oklahoma v Purdue Pharma et al. Dr. Gill received numerous awards from her residency program including the Program Director Award, Senior Resident of the Year, and Golden Apple Award for Outstanding Resident Teacher. Additionally, Dr. Gill was named a Resnick Scholar by the Midwest Chapter of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law recognizing her achievements in forensic psychiatry. After graduating from her psychiatry residency program, Dr. Gill completed her forensic psychiatry fellowship at the University of California, Davis in Sacramento, California. Dr. Gill is board certified in psychiatry and licensed to practice medicine in California, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
Dr. Gill’s expertise includes exploring female incarceration, domestic violence, stalking, dissociative disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, cults, and severe mental illness in the legal system.
Dr. Gill holds memberships in several organizations including the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, Oklahoma Psychiatric Physicians Association, Tulsa Psychiatric Association, American Psychiatric Association, American Osteopathic Association, Oklahoma Osteopathic Association, and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. She remains active in the medical and local communities through her involvement as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Assistant Program Director at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, and as a forensic psychiatrist at the Oklahoma Forensic Center.
